SOFIA KAMAN FINE JEWELS:
Formerly Kamofie & Co, (best known for the jewelry store that Lindsay Lohan infamously swiped a necklace) was having challenges with how the world & potential partners perceived the brand.

When it came time to commit to a new name, we examined the following:
 
Being that award winning jewelry designer, Sofia Kaman, was best known for her time worn textures, matte gold finishes, nature inspired designs and use of alternative stones, (ie. champagne diamonds, antique diamonds, rose-cuts)
it was ultimately decided that it would be be jewels!  Plus, the trendy Abbot Kinney Blvd. store front catered to a bohemian vibe and affordable luxury price point which made it important that the brand not take itself too seriously.

What to do with all of that grass?

It made for the perfect positioning of copy on a transparent overlay.

With aspirations to position the Sofia Kaman as a top alternative bridal jewelry designer, the re-brand focused on (3) areas: Engagement & Wedding, Signature Collections, and Curated Vintage Jewelry.  
 
When selecting a lifestyle image for the landing page, it was important that the photo styling speak to a bridal customer, but that it not be too bridal (as to not alienate anyone).  Essentially, I made the recommendation to use the landscape lifestyle image (above) for the newly re-branded website launch- because when I looked at the photo, it made me want to be "her".
